God has done wonderful deeds, continues to do amazing things in our midst and around the world, and will continue to do the same in the future, as our Lord says, “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20b NIV). May God’s liberating might be at work today around the world as it was in the past. The book of Acts tells us about a mighty act of liberation involving Peter: Peter, coming to himself, after being liberated from prison by an angelic being said, “Now I know without a doubt that the Lord has sent his angel and rescued me from Herod’s clutches and from everything the Jewish people were hoping would happen.” And the writer of Acts tells us that “When this had dawned on him [Peter], he went to the house of Mary the mother of John, also called Mark, where many people had gathered and were praying. Peter knocked at the outer entrance, and a servant named Rhoda came to answer the door.” In this pandemic season, one has to thank God for so many things.
So, come join us together let us pray, and thank God as he continues to liberate, save and sustain lives in our midst, and around the world. Come, and knock, we will open the door for you, and for your family.
